Adex Adebukola to Launch Empowerment Foundation in Lagos
As part of her efforts to empower under privileged and the needy in Nigeria, Mrs Adebukola Adeniwura, the founder of Adex Adebukola CrownGold Foundation recently in Lagos, announced her plan to launch an empowerment and skill acquisition foundation, a Non Government Organization that uplifts the needy and empowers underprivileged people in Nigeria come August 26th, 2017 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Non Government Organization, Adex Adebukola CrownGold Foundation is found on the core principle of uplifting and providing assistance to the needy and under privileged people in Nigeria. AACF renders free financial assistance, free material resources, free empowerment and skill acquisition trainings to many under privileged people across Nigeria.
The founder of the NGO, Adebukola said “having experienced chronic hunger, deprivation, mockery, helplessness, joblessness and hopelessness at certain period of my life. Some years ago, as a wife and mother of two small kids, I have had to result to begging to feed, cloth, house and meet some of our daily needs in order to survive. I remember how my family went to bed with empty stomach for many nights. I remember wearing rags on my body, I remember how I used to depend on handouts and charity from families and friends just to survive. I remember how I took to the internet to beg for financial help that some would later mock me about. I remember what it used to be jobless and hopeless. I did walk that path and I sincerely understand the pains caused by friends and the mockery that came from supposed closed associates. Thus I set up this foundation to give back to the society and help empower those who are currently going through this phase in their lives”
Speaking further she said “at the formal lunch of the AACF on August 26th, 2017 in Lagos, the foundation will be given out free empowerment and skill acquisition trainings and provide some attendees with business tools with which they can start up their businesses. We shall equally give out free financial assistance to empower some underprivileged people to become business owners. Amongst our confirmed speakers for the event are, Mrs Talatu Olulana, the founder and CEO of Raregems Nigeria Limited, who started her business in 2000 with just N5000 , a pioneer dealer in precious metals in Nigeria and Mrs Ivie Edobor, a mother of three, victim of domestic violence and a passionate giver”.
